Singapore August 2016

This is the safest place in Asia and a 5 day stay is enough

Easy to move around :

Place to stay :http://www.linkhotel.com.sg/ with a very good location, 5 min away from the nearest metro station, 10 min away from the famous Orchard Road. Total disorientation : Forget the European breakfast. You’ll have the chance to eat noodles, Cantonese rice and porridge for breakfast.

Things to do : Drink water and bring tissue to face this high intensity of humidity

Skypark at the 57th floor of the Marina Bay Sands (23 SGD but it worth it)

Merlion Park from which you can admire a beautiful panorama of Marina Bay

Gardens by the Bay by night : Lying on the floor and admire the light show. Very relaxing !

Drinking this famous Singapore Sling cocktail at the Long Bar in the Raffles Hotel (don’t remember what’s in it, there were 6 lines of description on the menu) while eating peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor (there are thousands on the floor). As a solo traveler, you will always find a place for one person. It could be awkward for some people to drink alone but at least there will always be a seat because this place is quickly full.

Sentosa Island : One way ticket is only 4 SGD and return is free. There is a train that will bring you all along the island and for free.

Tanjong Beach

I’m never completely alone, I’ve got my Routard guide with me 😉
